Government Engineering College, Huvina Hadgali
Government Engineering College, Huvina Hadgali is one of the distinguished institutions started by Government of Karnataka in the year 2007. It is the only State run Engineering College in the rural area of Kalyana-Karnataka and is the most accessible institute to the students from the backward districts of Bellary and Vijayanagara.
The GEC, Huvina Hadgali is situated on a small hill called “Huli Gudda” in 25 acres land, which is 7 km from Huvina Hadagali town in Haveri-Ranebennur Road. The silent and lush green environment of the college makes it an ideal place for learning. The College is located in Huvina Hadagali, Haveri Road, Vijayanagara District, Thippapura, Bellary, Bangalore, and Karnataka.
Government Engineering College, Huvina Hadagali which comes under the administration of Department of Collegiate and Technical Education, Bangalore is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and is included in UGC 2(f) list.
